In 2019, I fell in love with elephants in Africa, got drenched by one of the world’s largest waterfalls, and learned to camp without a tent. The boy and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary, and snuggled with our beautiful new niece. I MAY have finally figured out how to not totally suck at volleyball. This year I attended my first political debate, and worked with some of the best journalists (and people) in the world to cover a never-ending news cycle. I signed up for a creative writing class, and started a book club, both of which reminded me that real life will always be stranger than fiction 😂 I met a group of strong, successful, women leaders through ONA who have promised to guide me in the future ... and reconnected with a few good friends from the past. 2019 took its toll on my physical and mental health for sure, but I am so grateful for all the opportunities it offered. Happy New Year everyone!
I ❤️ New York at #christmastime
I miss my grandma the most around the holidays. Whether I’m baking our family’s delicious butter tarts, hanging her handmade ornaments on my tree, (almost) breaking the snow globe she sent from 🇨🇦 or playing with the train she inspired me to buy, she will forever be a part of my Christmas ❤️
Have I mentioned lately how much I ❤️ the #holidayseason ? Or how much the boy must love me to put up with my obsession 😂
This year’s #adventcalendars are officially done! ❤️ 🎅🏻 #christmas🎄 #auntlife
